Civil Servant’s Allowance Based on KPI

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama said key performance indicator (KPI) will be used as working performance evaluation. The system will be run two weeks again. The policy is taken since civil servant's allowance is high.

"KPI will record your working performance," he said, Thursday (4/7).

Later on, civil servant's allowance will be based on KPI point. Full allowance will not be given if the target is missed.

Basuki admitted that salary allocation for civil servant this year reaches Rp 18 trillion.

According to him, almost 50 percent of salary allocation is for teacher and nurse. Civil servant acceptance moratorium has been signed. It means civil servant number will keep decreasing.
